Racism #blackhistorymonth #MoorishHistoryEternal part 1

Racism. Racists, I couldn’t make sense of em.

One day maybe there’ll be no race but the human race and, erm,

Is racism ultimately a fear of integration

of race? Which is ultimately a fear of inevitable change n

A fear of change is ultimately a fear of death,

Which is illogical but natural. Let’s take a deep breath.

Does it scare you to think that one day maybe we’ll all be mixed?

If we pro-create and co-create will this all be fixed?

Divide and conquer has been in place longer than you may think’s the case

… we’re all one already – the human race.

I’m not black, I’m brown, he’s not white, he’s beige.

Am I a Moorish Moor? I AM free, not encaged.

What if we’re all mixed race, What if we’re all mixed race?

Brown,  mixed, beige, maybe we’re all from space?

How can you be racist AND Christian? If we’ve all got Adam and Eve within

just face it, we’ve all got to be related.

_

Racism is just an insecurity

Based on illusions of racial purity.

Vikings and Mongols raped with impunity,

gene pools large enough… to have a little Genghis Khan in us.

Divide and conquer works on insecurity

Banished by peace, love and unity.

If you’re scared of change you’ll lose you see.

Inner peace, one love and unity.

Hip-Hop Culture is changing (to reflect the evolution of consciousness…)

Exhibit A – JAY-Z and JAY ELECTRONICA, ‘We Made It’ Freestyle.

Jay-Electronica-Jay-Z_320 (1)

Jay-Z and Jay Electronica drop 5% knowledge and black history on the theme “we made it from slavery.” Jay Electronica is known for having deep, poetic lyrics but Jay-Z is known more for being a gangster lyricist, ex-crack dealing, board-room walking businessman married to Beyonce. Most people don’t know he had his period of 5% teachings prior to his fame. Also interesting to note that the Masons seem to have stolen alot of knowledge from Egypt which was according to some black culture anyway (investigate the Kingdom of Kush and the Moorish Kingdom for the hidden history of black kings), so maybe there’s another source for the pyramid imagery beyond the Illuminati accusations. I’ve never been a big fan of Jay-Z, I like Can I Live and Broklyn’s Finest but my favourite Jay-Z tracks either have a Nas verse, or a Biggie verse on it. Now there’s one with a Jay Electronica verse on it cos they both kill this track AND drop knowledge. Respect due.

The devil, the haters, the bloggers, the papers, the labels, they labeled me
But they can’t relate to our struggle, my nigga, we came up from slavery

Exhibit B – AB-SOUL and JOEY BADA$$, ‘Enter The Void’

joey absoul

Ab-Soul and Joey Bada$$ have been talking about chakras in rhymes for a couple of years (not as long as I have though http://www.kpkevthepoet.bandcamp.com ) but here they have a call for spiritual awareness in the chorus that is so unashamedly ironically gangsta but aware, only these two could get away with saying…

Keep your motherfucking Chakras open
Keep your mouth shut and keep your motherfucking Chakras open
Keep your all seeing eye open)

Jay Z – We Made It Freestyle Lyrics

[Verse 1: Jay Electronica]

The devil, the haters, the bloggers, the papers, the labels, they labeled me
But they can’t relate to our struggle, my nigga, we came up from slavery

Apologies go out to all of my fans cause they waited so patiently
This one is for all of the lost and forgotten black angels that prayed for me
A milli, a milli, niggas love me cause I’m ill
The greatest story ever told, niggas in the field
From Solomon to Sambo to Django, it’s fact

I’m the Farrakhan of rap and I get it from the wheel
The son of WD, who hung around in the D
Who ran around in the three
The trap gods raised me
Face all on the Sphinx
Story all in the wall of the pyramids
Niggas know the Black God saved me
You can blow the nose off, that won’t change it
Obamacare won’t heal all that anguish
We came a long way from the bottom of the boat
All praise to the Mahdi, we found our language
Gold necklace, middle finger erected
God tribe of Shabazz stylin’ on the record
Lost sons of Muhammad, we wildin’ in the wreckage
Asha du illah illaha is the message

All these niggas, I got to fight one
All these devils, I got to strike some
All these rebels just waitin’ on the war cry
Mama said: “son, you got to strike drum”

Roc Nation, celebration
Motivation, elevation

Nigga we made it from slaves on a slaveship
Live from the cotton fields, straight to the spaceship

[Interlude: Kenny Powers]
Kinda makes me wonder why the hell so many people are tryna tell me to slow down. Seems like motherfuckers should be shuttin’ the hell up and enjoyin’ the show

[Verse 2: Jay Z]
Hop off the slave ship
Popped off my chain and took it to Jacob, I got it gold plated
Walked in that bitch like “Nigga we made it!”

I own my own masters, you know I ain’t missin’ no royalty statements
I can’t be rated (God, God), damn Hov stunt on them haters
Sorry Mrs. Drizzy for so much art talk
Silly me rappin’ ’bout shit that I really bought

While these rappers rap about guns they ain’t shot
And a bunch of other silly shit that they ain’t got

I’m on my Lupita Nyong’o
Stuntin’ on stage, after 12 Years A Slave
This Ace of Spades look like an Oscar

Black tux, look like a mobster
Don’t make me RRRRAA yah, nigga watch your tone
I come to court with black boxers on
Y’all hella jealous of my melatonin
I could black out at any given moment

I’m God, G is the seventh letter made
So when my arms & feet shackled I still get paid
All praises due
I’m ready to chase the Yakub back into caves

These are the last days, but do I seem fazed?
Showed up to the last supper in some brand new J’s
I’m the true and livin’, book of Hov
New religion, 8th wonder of the world, alien, superstition

You’re blind, baby
Blind to the fact of who you are maybe

My bloodline’s crazy
Kings and queens and Michael Jordan rings

I go stupido, sucio
The flow is filthy, y’all can’t kill me

I’ve been inoculated from the snakes and the fakes
The corny handshakes, cock sucker we made it

Joey BADA$$ – Enter the Void Lyrics

Produced By: Lee Bannon
[Verse 1: Ab-Soul]
Tell my momma I’m a shaman rhymin’
Jesus Christ and Shawn Carter are my only idols
No, Jesus Christ and Shawn Carter are my only rivals
I’m the Messiah of rap, my catalog’s the Bible
To the new generation of lost souls
Student loans, iPhones, reality TV shows

It shows a host of wise, but blind drones
Post Babylonia, so I’m told
It could be bologna, so I don’t hold it to be fact
Just tryna put the pieces together, puzzled by this madness
If that dollar crashes, niggas gone panic
What we gonna do? How we gon eat? Don’t even know how to
Grow fruit,
detached from your roots, nigga, me too
I’m doing drugs, fornicating and eating fast food

But I know I got three eyes cause I’m looking past you

[Hook: Joey Bada$$ & Ab-Soul]
Enter the void
This for my hundred dollar billers to destroy
Spreading word of knowledge to through decoys
People realize that it’s time to deploy
Stay on point – open your third eye, boy
(And keep your motherfucking Chakras open
Keep your motherfucking Chakras open
Keep your mouth shut and keep your motherfucking Chakras open
Keep your all seeing eye open)

[Verse 2: Joey Bada$$]
Had to escape nest, told Moms I’m Apex
And plus I lay checks, I bust in the latex
So it’s nothing stopping the kid if you get where I come from

Busting conundrums on nuns and condoms
Don’t want no problems, It’s the number one solver
Can’t see me with these sentences, get your bars up
I’m close to the pen, I depend on this shit

Ain’t tryna be dead bent, I’ll ascend off this spliff
You can’t pretend with this shit
See, I know what’s real and what isn’t

Ain’t shit obscured with my vision, plus the herbs that I’m hittin’
Allow me to observe what is hidden

Could have been a cherry-pickin’ nigga, if I ain’t make jams and bury niggas
Used to be the sweetest ’til life handed me the lemons, nigga
Now everyday I see the sour patches
The flower of life devoured into ashes
